Introduction

Welcome to Acadiana Music Performances!  This seemed a logical extension of Acadiana Theatre Happenings, but it seems like a much bigger bite.  I definitely an not trying to replace or compete with the invaluable coverage of either the Times of Acadiana or The Independent, but I think that there are a lot of music events in the area that don't receive enough coverage.  That's where this blog will try to help.  Please let me know about your events--the genre doesn't matter.

And let me know where you think this blog should go.
